What used to be called the "Walk with Sunshine" has now expanded to include other events, and is now called "Sunshine's Walk, 5K Run & Roll"
Sunshine’s Walk, 5k Run & Roll at Monclova Elementary at 8035 Monclova Road is coming sooner than you might think. September 10, 2011 is just around the corner and Sunshine is hard at work, knee-deep in the planning phase. Sign up for the 5K run on the certified course along Black Road or take a relaxing walk along the Wabash Cannonball Trail. Children’s activity area is going to include animals from Sunshine acres, craft projects, music and more. All of proceeds from the Walk, 5K Run & Roll go toward Sunshine. Since its inception, this event has raised more than $180,000 for the people that Sunshine serves.

8:30 AM 5K Run
9:30 AM 5K Walk & Roll
